A Book! I am so EXCITED

So… I feel that I should write a little something to share what I’ve been up to of late, and by late I kinda mean since 2015.

Wow… that seems so far back and rather daunting.

Not to worry, I’ll make it quick.

I went back to school in 2015 to do my Doctorate in Education at Simon Fraser University. It was long and slogging at times, but exhilarating and amazing much of the time. So I was writing – like writing a lot – all the time – just not here.

I finished in 2021.

Wait what?!? 2021
You might be wondering, why haven’t I been writing here more??

So ya, I haven’t been writing here more becasue I have been working on a really big project.

A BOOK!
I am excited!

It’s getting real, folks.

This book is about connecting disability studies to educational practice. It is for teachers and parents and as one of my reviewers says, just about anyone who cares about inclusion and social justice.

Stay tuned, my friends!

Congratulations, my dear daughter, for the completion of this project -and may the outcome make a difference in the way people will see and differently understand disabled people and their experiences.
    With much love, Mom
