Gar, me hearties, ’tis ‘International Talk like a Pirate Day’… so a retrospective of me favourite scallywag seemed fittin’ for t’ fine occasion!
This lad has always loved t’ sea, and donning pirate garb has long bin’ part of his most beloved adventures.
Treasure hunting is in his blood, and he’s sailed t’ high seas of Vancouver t’ live his pirate dream.
Aaaargh matey!
And a kindly warning t’ those faint of heart… there be a frightening image at the end of this post…

Gar, Thank you and welcome aboard… there be and extra share of limes and doubloons for you autistic-hook(hee hee).
Except for the obvious plastic hooks, swords, and flintlocks – we have created everything out of repurposed clothing items – including the hats! A thrift shop’s women’s department is a treasure trove of pirate garb – if you look from the right angle. For the hats, I have always watched out for those made of felt with a wire sewn into the outer edge of the brim; they are easily molded.
